Sea Tragedy

Rescue teams are still looking for 28 missing travelers in Cagayan in spite of the very bad weather. Three girls and a boy were recovered close to the mouth of Cagayan River where the boat was overturned after an 8 hour trip last Sunday. The boat was wandering from Calayan islands when it came across powerful waves that made the boat capsized. I hope and pray that coast guard would be able to find the missing passengers. You know what, the best thing that they can do to avoid this kind of accident is to strongly implement the laws regarding safety policies in sea faring system. When there’s public storm signal, boat, ferry and other sea vehicles shouldn’t be allowed to sail. Then boats should be well-maintained and coast guard should always check every boat before it leaves.
